Another visit to this suberbly made over Manor House. A great set of volunteer guides with wonderful furniture allowing for full visitor participation and dressing up as well. It could not be better. Children will love it. Do go.
Visited on way home from a London trip. Very interesting. HOUSE has been refurbished in different styles by the BBC and you can touch all exhibits which makes a nice change from a lot of stuffy manor houses. Guides were very informative. Lovely gardens too....更多
No parking is available in the village for tourists, so use the National Trust parking lot - free for members.
It is a short walk, about 10 minutes to the manor. Stop at the barn to purchase tickets, which are also free for NT members....更多

Very interesting old house where you can wander through the rooms and sit on the chairs and sofas , its interesting to see how well off families used to live before the age of modern technology.

Book your timed visit to the house when you arrive so as not to be dissapointed. Each room us from a different era and you can sit on the furniture and dress up, great fun fir children and adults . The garden is beautiful too,...更多
The manor itself is quite interesting... not mindblowing but okay... however the staff here are so ghastly that I am just glad that being a member of the National Trust we got in Free... I have been gutted if I'd paid for this awful experience....更多
