An excellent attraction for adults and children combining entertainment and education. There is a lot more to the area than just the standing stones and this place gives a lot of history in an attractive way.
Having been to the Stone Circle and the exhibitions connected to it, we finished with a visit to the Manor. It was interesting meandering through the different rooms and finished off a pleasant visit to Avebury.

What a facinating place to visit, a house with different levels of history in it. The best of all though is that you are actively encouraged to feel and experience the house. You can sit on chairs, fourpost beds, touch the tapestries and wall papers....更多
