This is a different kind of visit - to a house that was gutted by fire in 2015. You can book a 'hard hat' tour which takes you inside the shell so you can see the extent of the damage. A guide takes you through to a couple of walk ways inside the house and gives you the background to... 更多
Having seen the very negative review I was surprised by the helpfulness of the man who answered the phone. He quickly went off to check on stocks of the item I wanted. When I arrived at the centre the staff were helpful, especially the man from the phone (who turned out to be the manager). I went back a couple... 更多

You can book on - line to have a guided tour of the burnt shell,, which is actually more interesting than you might think. As if you can access the site the N T are intending to increase the areas to visit as it all becomes more stable and partially completed. Plus you can walk in the grounds. We enjoyed... 更多
This is a beautiful building with marble flooring and some outstanding features. Sadly due to fire this property is not open to visitors at the time. Extensive repairs are to be undertaken.
Prior to the terrible fire which has destroyed this once beautiful building ,we visited on many occasions. It was a lovely Nat/Trust property with walks and many interesting special days.Lets hope it is restored and future generations can enjoy what we once shared. ******Garden centre still OPEN ****** further up the same road (once you have entered Clandon Park) the... 更多

Normally I would recommend this building and its grounds for a visit but it is impossible to do so... 更多
Trip Advisor suggested I might like to review this building so we assumed progress has been made after the dreadful fire. We were disappointed to find it was still completely covered in scaffolding and there was no restorative work being done. I think it will be a rather long time before visitors will be allowed here again.

We wept for that, then blew our noses and started looking at what we've still got: the walls are intact, nearly a quarter of the house escaped with little or no damage, the basement areas were protected by massive vaulted brick arches and are almost... 更多
