Having planned to spend this year exploring some of the green spaces in South Yorkshire that I've never visited before, I started by exploring Ecclesall Woods – part of the Sheffield Round Walk – and, as a geologist with interests in industrial archaeology, I found plenty of things to keep me interested for nearly 4 hours and, in total, covered... 更多
This is great walk. I live near crookes and so did the version of joint endcliffe park and walked right through to fulsome road after forge dam. Really relaxing pretty flat, can add a few hills if wanted. Call into pubs on way back on fulwood road. Great highly recommend.
Do the full walk and see and learn about Sheffield. See Sheffields natural beauty. All walking abilities can do most if not all of the walk. Take your time and enjoy the scenery and ancient woodlands and nature.
Good day out from Endcliffe park to Graves pary or the other way . hard going in place if with young children . may be split up in to sections so could be complited over time . take a picnic not to good for push chairs or disabled but still a great time to be had with many senic views
had a lovely walk here while staying at Halifax Hall hotel in Endcliffe Village. Would not have known about it without googling the area to find out places to walk and would recommend highly.

Because it was closest to my house I started at Meersbrook Park, and Bishop's House was a useful stop to buy the map. £3.95 was a little steep for the leaflet, but it was helpful with clear and useful instructions. The first leg... 更多

There are obviously difficulties in making a long walk in a city/semi-rural environment and this walk has tried very hard to surmount these - and has done pretty well in half of the walk. If you... 更多
This is a 16 miles walk around Sheffield and passing through lots of the parks and the countryside. I would recommend starting in Endcliffe Park and go up towards Forge Dam and RInginglow. The first half is more picturesque, giving the feeling of being out of town. The second half goes through less interesting parts of town with a few... 更多
We started the walk in Endcliffe Park - we only covered a short section of this 14 mile walk but stopped for a break at the cafe at Forge Dam. Great way to spend an afternoon
