Visited one midweek evening. Friendly bar staff and good range of quality real ales and craft beers. Ate fish and chips, which was OK - not the most generously sized piece of fish given the price, and the batter wasn't very crisp - even a bit heavy. The scampi and burger which other members of our group ate looked better.
A return visit to what was one of our favourite pubs for a decent lunch turned to be a bad idea. This was the first time under the new landlord,a good point the décor has improved. A group of us had various meals, 3 fish & chips meals were just average. The other meals very poor, a lot of food... 更多
When we came to Norwich 24 years ago this was one of the best pubs in the city and the beer was consistently brilliant. After changing hands, the beer quality has gone down and duff music introduced. Good quality and range of beer no longer seems to be the priority this pub was noted for. I used to stop regularly... 更多

Went to this pub tonight for the first time. Busy with great atmosphere. We wanted to eat but there were no tables available. Nothing was too much trouble for the two ladies who served us. After a short while they managed to sort a table. Food was very good and excellent value for money. Everything was done with a smile.... 更多
This pub used to serve one of the best pints in the city and while the choice is good the quality has gone very much, downhill. Maybe with the emphasis on the food, the importance of the beer quality has suffered as a result?
We visited the Trafford arms while visiting friends in Norwich. Quite an old pub with a little dining area at the back. The staff are very friendly and the food was spot on with decent sized portions. Took a while to get the food as it's freshly cooked ( I don't mind waiting for quality). I took a point off... 更多
The Trafford Arms is a welcoming real ale pub just off the centre of Norwich. Parking can be difficult but there is some available on a public park at the back of the shops. There are steps up at the front. There may be a disabled entrance but I did not see it. We drank the mild which was absolutely... 更多
