The BAPS Swaminarayan temple is dedicated to Bhagwan Swaminarayan, a hindu Saint of the 18th century. This beautiful temple, recognised as the largest outside the Indian subcontinent, boasts some of the finest hindu carvings and idols of many gods and goddesses. The sense of calm and beauty of the temple make it worthwhile for both the casual visitor and dedicated... 更多
Visited today and was fortunate to witness the ceremony with the Murtis. We were warmly welcomed and the complex was explained to us by the various attendants. The carvings in both wood and marble were stunning.
The temple is far from most tourist attractions, and they should have built in a larger plot. Anyway is really beautiful and interesting. Not for a one-week tourist, but if you spend one month in london it is worth to visit this temple.

It's free to enter, but there is a... 更多
This is the third time I have visited the temple (the first two being with school children!) Each time I've been, I've been awed by the building and the love and passion that's been poured into it. The Mandir is one of the most amazing places. If you can, definitely go when the Arti ceremony is being performed! A definitive... 更多

The Manager and his Staff were extremely generous, they looked after us extremely well and gave us an insight into the temple with their comprehensive explanations . We are very grateful... 更多
