This street in the West End of London runs from Piccadilly Circus to new Oxford Street. It is on the boundary of Chinatown with many theatres and restaurants located here. A bustling area with lots of street artists providing entertainment here in the evenings.

We wandered along on a Sunday afternoon when it is much quieter. This is the heart of the West End theatre district. There are the Lyric, Apollo, Gielgud, Queen's, Palace and Shaftesbury theatres. The avenue is also the start of China Town.
