We had lunch here in the beautiful tearoom while we waited for our guided tour of the house. The lunch was very good and reasonably priced. The guided tour of the house was well worth waiting for. The guide was very entertaining, lots of anecdotes...更多

Decided to make our last day in the Lakes different from all the usual walking, so went to Dalemain. Very interesting old building, with a brilliant tea room. Marmalade is absolutely wonderful and tasty. All in all, interesting place to go. The gardens are lovely.
