Nice tourist attraction and good for the camera. Pilgrims set sail for the Americas near here on the mayflower ship. Some survived and maid it, others perished along the way. Interesting story for sure.
If you are visiting Barbican then these steps are located opposite the Mayflower Museum and you may wish to say you have been here if you have a particular interest - but not worth coming especially.
Why would something as simple and bland as a couple of sets of stone steps in an old stone wharf be special? Historic no doubt, but special? If you know ANY of the history surrounding those who departed the shores of England and forged paths...更多
You can't miss it if you are visiting the Barbican area. Especially coming by boat. But this attraction is not that special. Of course the history around it is. But this is not one of the top attractions of Plymouth.
