Not the greatest sandy beach, but a great spot to explore, turn over rocks, count the starfish, etc. The remnants of the old sawmill are really cool. Barnet Marine Park is one of the most beautiful park in Metro Vancouver. Its great for an early morning walk, an afternoon picnic with the family or to watch the sunset, you’ll be rewarded by spectacular views of Burrard Inlet.
This is a beautiful beach area (including sandy beaches) excellent BBQ area clean public washrooms, huge grass areas to relax on. Lots of people willing to take part in beach sports Volleyball, frisbee etcetera. The only thing missing is a boat launch and a marina would be a perfect fit.
Went here for a few hours after watching our daughter figure skate at a competition in Burnaby. Very relaxing, lots of parking, and picnic areas. Watched the jellyfish from the shore. Wasn't crowded at all.

This is my dogs favourite place for a swim and a good social setting for pet owners. Though the whole park is not dog friendly, there is a large portion that allows on... 更多
What a gorgeous place for a stress relieving walk, good for soul, all the fresh air and ocean walk. Washrooms at each end, off leash dog area where you see dogs jumping into the ocean in any season. Summer is dicey for parking as the park fills up fast but otherwise, lots of parking. I love it here.
