We finally made it. It was certainly worth the wait. There are two floors with about two dozen fire engines and pumpers dating back to the early 1800's. They are from a number of communities around Nova Scotia. Lots of artifacts and pictures to see....更多
This is a great spot, especially for kids. Lots to touch and lots to learn. Great for young and old alike.
This museum was great! As a family of four, it was inexpensive and had tons of stuff for us to see. Staff are there to answer questions if you have any, but they leave you to do your own exploring which was nice.

Very interesting place to visit. We've been to car museums, but have never seen so many historical firetrucks and firefighting equipment in one place. We've seen the old pumpers in movies, but it's not like seeing them in person and trying to imagine what it...更多
On paper, I thought this museum would be boring, but it was not. they had old fire engines and pumpers, you could almost see the firefighters working the pump handles. Some of that equipment was really complex. They even had a wooden fire plug.
Really interesting for both young and old. Lots of memories to re live and artifacts to enjoy! The best display of antique engines I've seen. Cost is so so cheap...the only complaint is the air quality of the old building, kind of musty or dusty...更多
