I went to the Gardiner Museum specifically to see the displays of early Meissen porcelain and was not disappointed. Additionally to that were the other European and British examples of porcelain, china and earthen ware. I didn't go further than this, although there were items...更多

Our guide was such a source of knowledge and, over an hour, provided us with facts we wouldn't have picked up by 'going it alone'. The collection is fantastic; although I personally enjoyed the primitive ceramics on the ground floor. Plan to spend extra time...更多

This is a good place to come with a group of kids, they get to learn about art and technique and go away with something they've made themselves. A great learning experience
We visited to see a special exhibition of Panamanian artifacts from 100 years ago. Very interesting. We also perused their porcelain collection - fabulous. While there we had an enjoyable lunch in their restaurant. Highly recommended.
I always enjoy a visit to the Gardiner. Went specifically to see a special exhibit on Panama which was so well-curated and interesting. It's a small museum but the building is light and airy and the permanent exhibits beautifully displayed. The restaurant is excellent.
