We went when they had a music session. My daughter is 2 and loved it. Lots of songs. The rest of the museum was a bit too mature for her. She actually felt the dinosaur area was too scary and talked about how scared she was. We will definitely go back in the future though.
The museum looked old and many of the interactive exhibits appeared to be poorly maintained. Our five-year-old and three-year-old were entertained for a while I doubt one could spend more than an hour or two. I appreciated the focus on STEM and the exhibit on Canada's north was impressive (perhaps because it was still new).
We have a yearly family pass for the London Children's Museum (LCM). We bought it because it can be used at other scientific learning centers in Canada. Wonderful staff coping with an aging facility that needs serious TLC. We had kids ranging from 2 to 7 and they were only borderline engaged. Only few exhibits are interactive. First, ignore reviews that this place is 'run down'. We drove several hours from Michigan to go, and it was more than worth it!
