We went at 6pm on a Tuesday after visiting the Guelph Civic Museum next door and the church was beautiful in the evening light. The interior was stunning. Even our two young children were awed. Worth a visit.
Went to a Saturday evening mass while visiting friends in Guelph. We were made to feel very welcome. The parish priest spoke to us on the way out, and was actually interested in where we were from and our home parish. The church is BEAUTIFUL and so well kept, the grounds give a sense of peace!!
One of the nicest churches i've ever been in. Basilica of our lady id not just a place to pray but it's a beautiful piece of history. It is the top tourist attraction in guelph but I am surprised it doesn't bring more tourists in. I highly recommend going if your nearby.
Church of Our Lady Immaculate is an impressive monumental cathedral. It is very beautiful. The cathedral is located on a hill and is a landmark for the town.
I love this church and its history. it has beautiful stainglass windows and offers tours which are very informative. The new renovation has revealed some beautiful marble floors. I have taken my German visitors to the church as I believe it is a smaller replica of the one in Cologne. I enjoy the peacefulness, tranquility and spirituality of the church.
