Short drive from St John's. Busy parking lot, at times impossible to access; just hope no tour buses. Walk up or down... down to the most easterly point of N America (& see whales if lucky) or up to see the old and newer lighthouses....更多

While the lighthouse and grounds are interesting, the main reason to come here is that the trails around the site are breathtakingly beautiful, and this site is also the northern terminus...更多
Very knowledgable and friendly staff provide context and information on the history of the lighthouse and lighthouses in general. We were treated with a Minke whale swimming around just below the lighthouse. Well worth the drive.
