Pulled off the highway. There is a path for everyone, from small stretch-your-legs routes to long bird-watching photography routes. Great place to relax.
Stopped at the adjoining information center, and walked our three dogs around the park while on our way to Nova Scotia, a nice break and the info center is fantastic, our second time there when travelling to Nova Scotia!
Nature at our door step. Birds ducks and fish enjoying undisturbed quality of life. The routes are situated so that you can have a 15 minute stroll or a hour of beauty that can be breath taking. Put on your walking shoes, bring your binoculars or camera and you won't be disappointed.
We have been here many times. One thing that newcomers might want to know is that you can access the covered bridge very easily from downtown street parking - handy if you have people with limited mobility. It should be a requirement of all cities to have a park like this one. We are envious but truly privileged to have a walk through this extensive wetlands park on the many boardwalk pathways. Everywhere you turn there is beauty. Thanks.
My grandchildren and I had a great time walking at the waterfowl park. The boardwalk is lovely. A great place for young and old to have a relaxing walk and get in touch with nature.
This is a great place to go for a tranquil walk. Great to view interesting wildlife. The trail can be as short as 10 minutes or you can spend over an hour.
An absolute must-see when in Sackville, and right across from Mount Allison University. There is even free parking on the side of the road. Extensive renovations have been done to the boardwalk in the last year or so. Great place for bird and waterfowl enthusiasts/photographers.
