What a lovely place! So calm and peaceful.. Super-friendly staff lent us binoculars as we had forgotten ours and we spent several hours there just watching the wildlife. Walked there from downtown Red Deer along one of the many park trails. Recommended all round.
Kerry Wood Nature centre is one of my favourite places to visit. When I need to 'unwind', a 4 km walk around the perimeter, or 30 minutes of stationary wildlife viewing does the job. I've had porcupines cross the trail in front of me, owls...更多
The walking trails are vast and beautiful! There is also a fun playground with musical equipment for the kids. The nature centre is really neat and educational aswell. The staff were all very friendly.
This place is a must see. Thay have a great interpretive area , great displays some are hands on for the kids. Find out things about Alberta you may not have known. Plus they give great interpretive trail walks with even more information. Wonderful way...更多

Looking for a place to get away without leaving the city. This is a great place to visit. During the winter time, great place to cross country skiing, or snowshoeing. During the summer, there are places to take in a picnic or enjoy a pond.
