We used Rawson Square primarily as a thoroughfare from Woodes Rogers Walk and Prince George Wharf where all the cruise ships dock in Nassau, and Bay Street with it's many shops and restaurants, and Parliament Square (the historical/Government section), which is pretty much directly across the road from Rawson Square.
Rawson Square is not as big and open as Pompey...
Nice little shaded area away from the hustle and bustle of Bay Street. We grabbed some drinks, and stopped here to relax and cool off. Pretty much the only place where no one is trying to sell you something or braid your hair.
