The Plage du Bourg is the city beach and as far as I could tell the best beach. Some hotels advertised as beach front, due to erosion actually had no beach (Club Med and Hotel Le Rotabas). The water is gentle due and the sand is soft. The public beach is lined with restaurants and food trucks. On weekends, I... 更多
St Anne Beach is the liveliest of Guadeloupe's beaches with plenty of shopping/eating/drinking steps away. There are a few enterprising locals combing the beach selling 2 euro beers and beignets. The water is crystal clear with a white sand bottom. Snorkeling is OK but there are better beaches for that.
One of the highlights of my trip to Guadeloupe. The water is clear and so many beautiful shades of blue! I had a great time on these beaches.
This was one of the more crowded beaches we visited in Guadeloupe, there were tons of people even on a Monday morning! Probably because it's so beautiful and there are tons of food/drink options. We enjoyed the beach bars and the little tourist market just off the beach. That said, we preferred La Platcha in Gosier as it was much... 更多
We got a taxi from the port in Pointe-à-Pitre which cost us $10 pp each way taking around 35 minutes. The beach is quite long and looks to be set up in bays. It was quite busy but we still managed to get a spot in the shade under a palm tree. When venturing into the sea, there is rocks... 更多
Beautiful sandy beach located in the town of St Anne; lots of shade trees; public toilets were available (and free!); lots of opportunity to buy food and beverages; parking next to the beach (is fully occupied later in the day); busy on a Sunday.
This beach is located right in the center of town. The beach is very protected being out of the wind and also protected by breakwaters. If you are looking for waves this is not the beach to go to but if you want a mellow beach this is it. Being right in town it is rather crowded but this makes... 更多
Staying at Club Med La Caravelle, we walked into St Anne for the local scenery and flea markets. We stopped at the beach, where many folks were swimming, sailing, kayaking, etc. Bring your own chairs.
Just excellent beach to spend the day with near by restaurants and bars. It can get a bit crowded and noisy. Shade is hard to come by, you have to get there early to secure a palm tree, or an umbrella from one of the local restaurants and bar. It's feel very tourista with all the souvenirs vendors, and all...
