Enjoyed watching the divers. The gift shop was really nice and they had a cute monkey. We bought lots of items to take home as gifts. Very reasonable. If your into patches, she has some nice ones.
By far the best about the Concord Falls was for me the walk towards it (and back). The falls themselves are in a lush, hilly nature (as is most of Grenada), but they were not overly impressive. On top it can get crowded up here, especially when people from cruise ships are brought up here in minibusses one after the... 更多
We took a private tour with Peter though Pete's Mystique tours and taxi. firstname.lastname@example.org. There were 10 of us and his 15 passenger van fit us all comfortably. He was waiting for us outside the cruise terminal and took us to Concord falls. Our main objective was to take the moderately easy hike to the second of the group of... 更多
If you have a vehicle, do not sweat it to get to this place, but it is a nice little stop in a tour bus. To get to the falls, you go down a short but steep flight of stairs. You will see nutmeg and cocoa trees on the road going to the falls.
VERY easy to reach as it does not require any hiking. Nice large pool at the base of the falls. You can donate $ to the local kids who will do acrobatic dives into the pool from the top of the falls.
If you are touring the island then worth a visit. The falls were impressive, but not too much else to see. There was a small entry fee (US$1-2 per person). There are some small stalls at the site and somewhere to get a drink. There were also rest rooms. The road up to the falls is very narrow if you... 更多
Although not magnificent, the falls are nice. They spill into a pool that is great for cooling off on a warm day! Another highlight (for some) is that you can jump off the cliff into the pool. There was a small entrance fee -- not sure how much because we did not have to pay it as my son lives... 更多
Interesting drive up a narrow road. Cute and friendly shops selling their wares. Purchased some cocoa balls and other spices. Falls were interesting, but on their own not as impressive as others. However, the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful.
The first Concord Falls are easily accessible and suitable for all ages. You can get great photos from the road but it's best viewed at the bottom. Changing facilities are available you want to take the plunge, do take a towel. Really friendly local lads showed off their diving skills. Do not try that :0)
