This is the oldest synagogue in the Western Hemisphere and worth a visit. It smells so wonderful in there, the beautiful tropical wood. Such a great place of worship.

The first synagogue in the Caribbean (maybe the New World- can't recall) Love the symbolic sand floor. Museum just OK. Exhibits a bit cramped. Attended a good concert in the synagogue.

This is a must see place. I'm not Jewish and I found this museum very interesting. Being brought up Catholic I took my hat off when I went into the synagogue and was immediately reminded that you keep your hat on.

This is a must see if you are interested in history; (especially if you are Jewish). The Synagogue and museum are well preserved and maintained.
