There appears to be much confusion by reviewers on this site. Victoria Park is nowhere near the ferry terminal nor the National Library. (Maybe they confused it with Queen Elizabeth Park, formerly Par-La-Ville park?) Victoria Park is behind City Hall and close to the Hamilton...更多
Lush gardens, art installations and picnic tables. Victoria Park is the Central Park of Hamilton. As an added bonus, there is free wifi from the National Library located at the entrance to the park.
We just happened upon this park while we were in Hamilton. It could be almost any place. There was only a small monument to World War I heroes. Not really worth a special trip. It is somewhat near the Cathedral.
Небольшой милый парк, очень ухоженный, чистый. Весь наполнен зеленью, и небольшими статуями, фонтанчиками, и даже есть прудик с золотыми рыбками!...更多
I was not as impressed with this park as I was with another in Hamilton. It just seemed to be very plain in comparison. As with most parks, it is peaceful but there is not much to see. It is close to the bus terminal.
This park is just a couple of minutes walk up from thr front, it is a peaceful green space with a few seats throughout the park.not a large park but worth a walk through.
It has an attractive interesting Bandstand, but apart from that there is nothing much else to look at. Not very large, but good if you just want to sit and relax - close to the bus station.
