We hiked this trail the morning of Saturday May 6. It is a great hike! The wildflowers were in bloom (& hopefully still are), changing with each turn and change in altitude. A beautiful show! The day was overcast, nice because there was no morning shade. If sunny & warmer, double up on water, sunscreen & remember your hat. At... 更多
We did Angel's Landing and the riverside portion of the narrows, the hanging gardens, the emerald pools and this was our favorite hike. The rocks are so interesting along the trail and the view of everything is gorgeous. We hiked this just before dark and it took us about 2 hours. The shadows on the rocks are gorgeous at dusk,... 更多
We ended our trip with this hike. It's about two hours and not nearly as punishing as Angels Landing, East Rim, et al. Great view from the bottom of the canyon looking up, which is opposite of most views
This is a pretty mellow trail by Zion standards. There is some climbing, but the views make it worth the steps! At the top, there are beautiful views of the surrounding area. We did this on our first afternoon in the park and it was a great intro to Zion.
I came to Zion National Park during Easter weekend. The crowds were overwhelming on some of the well-known trails. This one doesn't require a ride on the shuttle. It's about 4 miles to the top and it's really a beautiful hike. I recommend it!
We spent 2-3 hours on this trip. My husband and I are both in our 60s and in reasonable physical shape, and this hike was not a problem for us. We wore good hiking boots and had lots of water with us. Since it was mid-November, there were very few people on the trail. That made it extra-fun as we... 更多
This hike will get you up high enough to get some grand views of many of the more iconic images of Zion National Park. As someone has mentioned, it can be muddy after a bit of rain or snow, but even then it is not bad. Because it is a lesser known trail it won't be as crowded as the... 更多
This is a long trail and our kids didn't like the endless switchbacks. The view from the top, I hear was great, but our 7 and 9 year olds got bored and we didn't make it to the top.
We hiked this in late December. The park had just gotten about 12 inches of snow, and the trail was quite muddy at the beginning. The trail dried out and then became a bit icy around the shaded part of the canyon. We were glad we had our yak tracks in the backpack. Fabulous late Afternoon views at the end... 更多
