We did this hike in mid-May. The trail to the beach (1.8 to 3 miles one way, according to various sources - took us about 1.5 hours) goes through ancient woods and is very muddy, the kind you sink into. The path at the end...更多

It's a long drive from Port Townsend Washington, but so very worth the drive. The views are absolutely amazing. It's a great feeling to be in such a remote place. Stay for the sunset!

If you can swing it, do it! The hike out to Shi Shi (pronounced Shy Shy) is not too bad but is a bit muddy in spots. There are paths around the mud so it wasn't too bad - but we are on a hike...更多
