This is a walking place but there is a motor tram for those who don't need to linger in places of their interest. During the winter, (Jan) there are no bugs and plenty of gators and birds to photograph. Enjoyed it a lot.
This is really nice place to see gators, snakes, and egrets, herons , etc. The boardwalk and paved pathway can make it easy to view or you can head out across the slough. Warning this can be hot and buggy at times.
After visiting this stop for the first time, this part of the Everglades NP is my favorite. Warning: get there early because the parking fills up quickly and it tends to get crowded. There are ample opportunities to observe alligators and birds galore. The gators...更多
