The cafe is Very small range of food and drink, but they do have ice cream for the kids !!!! Coffe is ok but nothing special but service is quite quick and pleasant at least. The park itself is always way too full, as if local people just have nowhere else to go !!!
We thought we would stop off for a walk around Bruntwood park as it is many years since we last visited. Sadly there was a lot of disruption in there as some work is being done on the old house. lovely park with good facilities. big open spaces to get lost in. can get crowded around main hub of carpark, cafe and play area but plenty of space for all if you move away to edges of park. BMX track and play area well maintained
Bruntwood is a beautiful park, particulary good for children, with playgrounds and a bike circuit and putting green, but also with lots of gardens and lawns, and the many trees are beautiful in the autumn. There is a duckpond, a cafe and an ice cream and snack kiosk. The park is surrounded by open fields offering longer walks.
