It is just incredible to see how many people died in these appalling wars.But the Commonwealth grave commission have kept the site spotless and so well presented.The history is detailed and very moving.
after visiting the Passchendale museum , Tyne Cot was a poignant visit , knowing that the area was devastated and so many lives lost . A moment of reflection rather than an attraction
The cemetery is immaculate and a fitting place of rest for the fallen. The site is very moving and has lots of interest, well worth a visit.
The biggest British and Commonwealth forces cemetery in Belgium. The number of graves is staggering but it's the number of names on the wall, which identify those whose bodies were never found that is simply amazing.
As with all CWGC cemeteries Tyne Cot is immaculate. The flower beds are awash with colour and as you walk amongst the thousands of headstones you cannot help but be moved by the magnitude of the sacrifice that this place records. If you are to...更多
