We stop over in Port Olry Beach for lunch enroute from Champange Beach. We had fish and chips. Very delicious. Good cooking and service. Beautiful views looking over the beach and outer islands. Saw a coconut crab nearby. Beautiful weather - sunny day for swimming.
At the end of the 65 km coast highway is Port Olry. No hawkers, postcards, fridge magnets, motorised boats, loud music, t shirt shops- but smiling faces, glorious beach, two rustic welcoming beach-side restaurants and cows. There is no post office of shops but you...更多
We went by hire car to Port Olry, which has a very beautiful beach. At low tide you can walk via a sandbank to an island. In a way, I preferred it to Champagne Beach.
This place is incredible, we visited for the day and wish we had spent the week there. There are a few places to stay and a few nice restaurants right on the beach. So beautiful!! It was stormy when we were there but still incredible....更多
