This little chapel was built by Italian POWs, who were involved in the construction of the Churchill causeways. They made this beautiful little gem out of what was not much more than a Nissan hut and scrap, although the front is particularly lovely
A great example of man's ingenuity and craftsmanship to create this beautiful place basically out of scrap. It is a credit to the Italian POW's who were there to build the Churchill barriers. A must see site.
