I don't see the point of going there except if you are with really young kids who's never been to an aquarium. Seems like the environnemental point of view is there but the fun is really not there. Maybe they need help from and curatorial point of view.
The aquarium is well advertised and looks impressive from the outside. They have cleverly used some of the massive pink granite boulders to make it have character, but the good stops there.
There are inside and 2 or 3 inside areas but there is nothing impressive or special. It is disappointing and you see a few tanks and then find...
A local aquarium it was a pleasure to walk round. The rooms are dotted between the pink granite rocks with a view point at the top.
The tanks were well laid out with lots to look out, star fish, Ray's and spot the flat fish.
If you are use to over commercialised aquariums then don't bother you will be disappointed...
We do not recommend to go here. There is not much to see, but they charge a high entrance fee. The animals are badly taken care of, which made my 14 year old son very angry and sad. We even saw dead fish in the tanks!
Having visited a few years previously, went back to see if our experience would be any better. Just as good was the conclusion.
