The Great Buddha is indeed quite big. It costs 200 yen to enter the grounds but if all you want to do is see the Buddha then you can take your photos outside without going in. Nice place the Buddha is very beautful. It is quite large. I found it nice just to take 5 mins to meditate take in the surroundings.. There are some beautfull trees that are planted there .when kings of Thailand came to visit . A tree was planted to pay respect to them. You can get inside the Buddha it's ok... 更多
Large cast Buddha that once was covered by a pavilion, However after a many years ago the pavilion was washed by a tsunami so our guide referred to it as the homeless Buddha.
