this was the best thing we did all week. we took the walk in a clockwise direction, definitely the best way to do it. at one point you have a choice of routes, we took the lower glen which takes you further up the waterfalls. the scenery all the way is beautiful, lots of opportunities for photos. it's also very... 更多
A truly awesome walk, relaxing with so much character you feel like you really are amongst the fairies. Waterfalls and majestic trees. Steep steps in some parts, wear sturdy shoes as its damp on even the sunniest days. Small children will love it! Fantastic views at the top. Don't miss this walk!
This place blew me away, being reminiscent of parts of the South Island of New Zealand or Fern Canyon in Northern California - it is right up there with my favourite places. As its name suggests, it is 'fairytale' like - magical and mystical - and almost raw in its nature, appearing untouched and unspoilt. It is truly wonderful. We... 更多
I walked this with a 6 year old and a 3 year old and we all loved it, scenery was amazing and the kids found the walkways one big adventure. Will definately go back.
Visited Puck's Glen in a group of six (plus dog) while recently on holiday in Dunoon. The car park is easily accessible and free! The walk was incredible although definitely not accessible for wheelchairs or buggies. This was my favourite activity of our week-long holiday and would highly recommend to anyone!
Thoroughly recommend, although pretty tricky walk so wouldn't recommend with pushchair or if not steady on your feet. Beautiful waterfalls and enchanting feel to the whole place. My only complaint is that it's not longer. Free parking - what more do you need?
What a place!! Beautiful hike! Just a perfect distance. We started in the carpark and did the puck glen trail, went to the upper buck glen(totally worth it) then went down black gates turned left at the bottom and followed the rest of the pucks glen trail back to the carpark. Took about 1.5-2 hours to do all that. Worth... 更多
We were lucky having a fairly sunny day that shone through the gnarled and twisted trees - quite Ent like (Lord of the Rings) - on our walk through the forest, across wooden bridges over waterfalls and streams. The dogs loved running in and out of the water and disappearing into the undergrowth. Some parts of the marked walk can... 更多
Amazing and somewhat challenging walk, through stunning scenery, tumbling waterfalls, mossy rocks, teeny wooden bridges and steep, slippery steps. Very 'Middle Earth' - expected to see a Hobbit appear at any moment! Not an easy walk, don't attempt it if you have mobility problems or vertigo, but so very worthwhile if you can do it. Tip: Take a photo of... 更多
Went here with my granddaughter who's 5. We had a ball, the scenery is to die for, a great walk with a few breaks, met some lovely people out walking. Downhill was a dream, absolutely wonderful waterfalls, I never wanted it to end. My granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed it, especially when nana let her drink some of the pure clear water.... 更多
