During our week long stay in Bora Bora in March we visited Bloody Mary’s restaurant for dinner. Our daughter really wanted to come here because everything that she read and saw on TV about this place, as a must location in Bora Bora. It was 3 of us. We came around 7 pm, the place was packed. We were told... 更多
Was not impressed with the place. Not sure what the fuss was about. They say this was the place to be and where all the celebrities visit. But the only evidence of this was a board at the front of the place all written in the same text, not personally signed by them. So who knows how accurate this is.... 更多
I loved that when you first walk in your greeted by the owner who explains all the food on tonight menu. Great atmosphere. Music was playing and people were all around. Very friendly staff. Bathrooms were great. The tuna was out of this world amazing I never tasted anything that good before.
Admit it: you have always wanted to go to Bloody Mary's for a mai-tai, one of their mixed drinks, made with vanilla rum, fruit juice, and added dark rum and brandy. Did I mention the price of $16 US? In pricey Bora Bora on the beach. Well, it was worth it to sit at that famous bar and soak up... 更多
We went for dinner and they bring you in and show all your choices over ice. Unfortunately, I felt rushed in making a decision befor going to our table. The entire restaurant has a sand floor, very unique. I had the local fish and tuna sashimi and it was very fresh and good. My daughter had the Ono and calamari... 更多
It's worth a stop. Be sure to go to the bathroom if you need to wash that man right out of your hair, the sink makes the visit worthwhile. We ordered 2 Mai Tais without looking at the menu, and they were delivered in plastic cups sans fruit and cost $38.00. It was vacation and we're glad we went.
We went with a group of 24 from our cruise ship. To order, your table is called up to the kitchen area and a beautiful display of the dinner choices is explained and your order taken. Our meals were all wonderful and everyone was satisfied. The restaurant setting is beautiful and ropical. We had a lovely evening.
Like most tourist traps, the right to be called such a name is usually earned. So, while the food is poor (being kind), going to Bloody Mary's is alright. The place is quaint and classic. You can feel the air of the decades gone by and the hordes of tourists, celebrities, politicians and even some royals visiting this place. The... 更多
While the bar is nice, with sand floors and very nice Polynesian theme, don't waste your time. Count on the very slow service to deliver an average boat drink. In my opinion, sipping a drink on a Motu is a far better way to spend time in paradise.
Needed to take a water taxi from the hotel and a funky cab ride from the dock, but worth the effort. Great food in an eclectic setting. Make it a "must experience" on your trip.
This is a fun place to eat. sand floors and wooden stools with lots of celebrity names who have visited . That being said I had low expectations for the quality of food and was amazed with how good everything tasted. The drinks were good and the food had great flavor.
