Drove past this place lots and decided to give it a try. What a little hidden gem. Pizzas are amazing and the menu is very well priced. Service was excellent and the place is quaint. Will definitely be back.
The menu is extensive to treat all tastes. Worth a visit all time of the year so you can enjoy the garden area as well. Lots to see inside, has a feel of a English pub atmosphere. The staff need to polish up on service ordering but the food from the kitchen is great.
An interesting establishment not trying to be anything other than what it is... The building is old and totally unique which lends itself perfectly to the 70's / 80's style of food... We have stopped on more than one occasion for beers and food.. Tonight we celebrated a birthday... My only gripe with this place is the lack of service...... 更多
The Forta Leza Restaurant was a Cheese and butter factory until 29 years ago when it became a Restaurant. Over the intervening years the owners have built a private collection of "Beautiful Dolz" which you can view by appointment. The collection has to be seen to be believed. Just off the busy SH2 and passed by us on many an occasion, with the promise of a visit soon. We eventually ventured in after a motorbike trip and found a gem of a place just waiting to be discovered. The menu was extensive and according to the orders being delivered to other tables we were suitably impressed and ready... 更多
They claim to be a pizza place but the neighbouring table asked for a Margherita which wasn't on the menu and had to explain to the waitress what it was. The fish may have been fresh but everything else was frozen in my seafood main, no seasonal fresh dishes, a dated menu and overall the place was a bit tatty... 更多
Close to the end of my trip, I asked the family where might be nice for a dinner? Forta Leza was the reply, so off we went. There appeared to be ample parking on arrival and the building easy to navigate. On entry there is a small museum like section laid out with historical equipment, including Horse harnesses, stock whips... 更多

As we have just moved to Katikati thought we would try the local restaurant. Nice meal, presentation rather unusual. Ordered pork belly but this had been marinated in a sauce which made it soft and not crunchy. Bit disappointed. My friend had the kidney entree which she said was excellent. Will go back but definitely wont order pork belly. Their... 更多
Forta Leza on Main Tauranga Highway, 5 min. drive from Kati Kati Township offers one of the best restaurants for both value and food choices we have found in the last twelve months. It is a must for both local families and people travelling through to Tauranga who may be looking for an above average eatery at less than expensive... 更多
