Beautiful setting. Perfectly cooked lamb and rabbit. Reccomend the truffle pasta and the filled nettle and ricotta ravioli. Child friendly!

we had a dinner in this restaurant during our holiday in Italy and had a nice time. The location and the setting are the highlight but also food and service were very good even though a bit overpriced for italy. Overall a very nice experience.
Excellent food, good gluten free pasta (two in our family are allergic) , Good atmosphere and friendly service from very observant waiters. The price level are a bit over average for the town, but every bit worth it. Situated in the old town quarters by the church, it also have good seating inside.
We had lunch in this restaurant during our 1-week holidays in Tuscany and Umbria. This was the best restaurant of our holidays. The food is delicious. I would definitely recommend the lamb and the ragou.
Pitigliano was the first Tuscan hill town we saw in our drive up from Rome. It has a spectacular vista from across the ravine. The tufa caves are amazing as well as the town's history. We did not think about eating here but we were so glad that we found del Ceccottino. Charming atmosphere and delicious locally sourced food. It's... 更多
Very nice restaurant in the middle of the old town of Pitigliano. Nice service even if they were very busy. I had a very good buffel mozzarella, with very tasty tomatoes. And their boar ragout really good. As dessert we had homemade tiramisu so good. Nice winelist with lots of local wines.
We tried to get a reservation for the Hostaria del Ceccottino our first night in Pitigliano - but it was all booked up, so we made a reservation for our second night there. (Be warned!) A relatively large room for this small town - and by the middle of the evening, it was full. Staff were friendly and attentive, using... 更多
My family had the tagliatelle with mushrooms which was ok. I had the chefs special which was supposed to be lamb with potatoes. The lamb was basically just a pile of bones my dog would have chewed on. One of the most expensive meals we have had in our 2 week stay in Italy and by far the worst. Should... 更多
One of our best meals ever! And totally loved the "slow food" concept! We loved Pitigliano and the Osteria is one of the things you can't miss....also loved the Cammera del Ceccottino.
We enjoyed our day in the countryside and found this to be a great lunch stop. The staff was warm and welcoming. When some members of our party ever having trouble ordering, the server offered to make bolognese which they normally offer to children. We loved it! We also enjoyed the local wines. Charming stop!
