What can I say except 2 large finger licking fresh tasty pieces of fish, served in the traditional Portuguese way
This is a no frills portugese restaurant, the food is the same quality as the higher priced restaurants but at a fraction of the price. The meat dishes come with rice and chips, (avoid the chips) and are delicious and plentiful. Can highly recommend their desserts especially the house special. Good quality food at good prices.
Visited there on several occasions during our stay as food was delicious and so cheap! My mother and I had sea bass, portuguese style steak, half a litre of house red wine and two desserts all for 26.50 euros (about £22)! Everything we had was delicious and the house wine was excellent. The lady serving us spoke fairly good English... 更多
Arrived here on a Saturday night but only four diners inside. The decor is a bit like a cafe and they only have a limited selection of food but their prices are very good. I had a large bowl of fish soup followed by monkfish and rice stew which was very tasty. Probably won't visit again as there are lots... 更多
We ate here on a March Thursday evening with other customers mostly Brits too and not many of us too. All four of us enjoyed our meals - two of us having Bacalhau served in one bowl with unusual thick crisps, quite oily and very salty but very tasty; one had a large quite chewy steak with presunto on top... 更多
Looks a bit rough and ready but the food is good. Everything from steak on the stone to a small selection of fresh fish, always well prepared. Not the most subtle lighting though, but they have now upped the ante by getting rid of the plastic tablecloths and gone for paper! A must visit every time I go.
I went here based on a recommendation from my parents. Not the easiest to find but defintely worth it when you do. Unfortunately all seating is inside and it doesn't have the ambience of other restaurants but the food is really very good. I had golden bream. Simply grilled served with vegetables and fries. It was delicious and great value... 更多
We ate in Duartes on three occasions over two weeks in Alvor. Decor is basic...so much so that you might pass it buy but the food is truly delicious. Prices are very very reasonable, sometimes 30% lower than places less than100 feet away. House wine is 5 Euros for a litre. This is a superb little place hidden off a... 更多
Can't criticise the quality of the food in any way - hard to believe that a meal for 4 with 2 bottles of wine came In at €68! Ok it's not the most elegant or stylish restaurant but if you want well cooked quality traditional food this restaurant should be near the top of your list
