We chose the restaurant by chance and the great success we have returned. Excellent especially trippa and orange salad with fresh fennel
The must for a dinner, if you want to taste the most traditional food from this very city and area. Not the best in terms of presenting the dishes, but it's secondary versus the quality of food (from the starters to the dessert) and the kindness of the people.
Visited today for lunch. Very average at best. Service was good but the food was pretty basic peasant food in my opinion. We had starters of Ravioli stuffed with Ricotta and wild fennel which was fairky tasty, and a very bland broad bean kind of puree starter with pasta tubes. For mains we had a Veal stew which was pretty... 更多
The restaurant specializes in local Sicilian cuisine, and the soups and stews are great. The staff is competent and friendly. The restaurant is surprising large, but the noise level is reasonable. Overall I eat and drank too much, but I don't regret it.
We were looking for a typical and popular restaurant for lunch and this place was recommended to us by a local resident. It is on the main street and has a couple of dining sections, decorated with old farm and home articles which give it a warm feeling. The menu offers a selection of local and regional Sicilian dishes: we... 更多
We went to this Osteria because it had been recommended to us. We arrived a bit earlier than the official opening time but found it open so we went in, accompanied by a large group of tourists. The place is quite big and will easily host busloads. You get the picture, Osteria Sapori Perdutti is quite popular on the tourist... 更多
We were on a/coach trio and our guide recommended this restaurant. Straight away we were told that the kitchen was closed (at 5pm) so only 5 pasta dishes were available off the menu!! We were given a photo album of the menu/dishes to choose from. We chose a tomato/aubergine pasta dish and a ricotta cheese/peas pasta dish. We did not... 更多
Warming, substantial, earthy food from the Modica region - beans, meat, mushrooms, stews - in high-ceilinged rooms with a good atmosphere. Good prices. Popular with tourists, but they haven't let that fact spoil the place.
The menu is written in Sicilian, but you get a colourful foto album of the family with the menu translation into other languages, explaining the ingredients and the traditions. The food is great, simple rural food but genuin, no messing around with complicated recipes. The staff is lovely, friendly, the owner shining with good humour. Sure they want to make... 更多
