A small menu with very good, reasonably priced Austrian specialties and a very good selection of the local Wachau Valley wines.
Stopped by twice during our stay since we liked it first time so much, very nice outside seating under trees, wonderful schnitzel, tafel spitz, pancakes with apricot marmalade, poppy seed warm desert as well as great selection of riesling

After a 40 mile bike ride around the valley, the beer was the focus of my dinner. Pork loin came with excellent croquettes (high end tater tots), Jackies char was nicely done, and the local wine, a Gruner was crisp and dry. Service efficient if not chatty.

We had dinner under the arbor on a summer evening and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious and staff were very attentive. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

First class, professional service. We sat on the terrace under the lovely arbour and it was delightful. Kaisserschmarn was the best ever!
It was a bit chilly so instead of sitting outside we ate inside. They gave us a very nice table and helped us order our food because one of our party is allergic to onions and garlic. They started us off with fresh baked bread and butter, then we had asparagus soup which was delicious, we had fillet white fish... 更多
ok food, very good service and decent prices! This restaurant Was recommended to us by our hotel owner and it wasn't disappointing since we were looking for Austrian Cuisine and that's what the restaurant was all about .
Good selection of local wine. Food was decent but expensive. Waiters friendly and efficient. Charge cover charge. Had char and perch. Basically fried and sauced in butter almonds and garlic. Salad dressing too watery but still good. Apricot ice cream very good! Dinner for two one bottle of wine dessert was $101 euros
Food was overall ok - we had a very good Tafelspitz, nice salad with Turkey and a disappointing tomato soup. You can sit outside in a calm but sterile atmosphere. Overall we found it not worth the money we had to pay because it was much more expensive than other experiences in Wachau with same or even higher quality
Traditional well established premises. Several rooms plus an outdoor area across the road. One small point they charge a cover charge which included in our case a titbit of a cheese dip with tomato and cucumber. ( see pic) In truth unnecessary but obviously something they feel they need to do. Had a trout fillet (Forellen ) with horseradish cream... 更多
