Great food..Loved the burritos. Great quesidillas for my kids. I was super hungry and Cafe Rio killed my hunger
I got the pork salad. It took 10 minutes to order on the phone because she couldn't understand me. Then I asked for extra dressing instead they put the Verde sauce in the bag and to top it off the pork was a big clunk not shredded at all. Disappointed in this location. Won't be back.
We love Café Rio, but will never return to this location. Their service sets an all time low for any restaurant. We've tried this location over and over, but no more. There is a new Café Rio opening in Lehi (Traverse Mountain). We just hope that they don't bring any of the people from American Fork.
One line worker was new, and I have patience for the on-the-job-trainees, but his co- workers were no examples to learn from! Hubby and I often choose Mexican when we're traveling because it's adaptable to being vegan-friendly, but this was not a good choice! We waited in line to order and the whole time the people working there are cussing loudly. They acted like they thought they were incredibly funny. They hardly acknowledged we were there. They were really rude and the food was only average.
This Cafe Rio is always busy and it's because the food is so good! I love the salad with the sweet pork. I also love the coconut shrimp tacos, but hate that they're only available once a week. The whole family loves their food and drink options.
