Co-workers wanted pizza one evening , but first selection was closed. Searched and found this spot! Great little find. Fresh ingredients and our waitress was very helpful. BYOB though. Would definitely go back.
If you like unexpected serendipity Volare can provide it. Its a quaint and very small italian environment with authentic pizza and pasta to go or stay. Hard to believe its in Texas. Manga!
It doesn't look like much from outside but step in for a great meal. Table for 6, pizza, cheese bread and antipasto salad. The pizza is classic italian, thin, great tasting and fast. The best pizza in San Antonio. I love this place. It is such an understated little tiny hole in the wall. You would never imagine that the pizza will be so great. I have had the lasagna and loved it too.
Very good Italian food served here. It is VERY small with only four tables at which to dine. It is actually located in the City of Alamo Heights, not San Antonio.
