I don't know the area well so maybe it's the going rate. The sushi was good. I tried a couple rolls and liked them both. The spicy rainbow was very good. It just seemed a little steep compared to other places I have been.
I go here every few months and it remains one of my favorite in ABQ. I find the atmosphere relaxing and the food consistently good. There are usually interesting specials. I would compare this to some of the better midrange restaurants in Chicago or LA.
Was excited to try sushi with green chili; less excited as the meal progressed and the service got worse. Dirty plates left on the table, then neither the waiter nor chef seemed sure of what they gave to us for dinner. Food was average.
I was a frequent diner here when it was Japanese owned. (I'm a sushi-snob, and only eat from authentic Japanese restaurateurs.) I'm happy to report that the new owner has kept the same high quality that the previous owner, Ono did. Worth a visit and MUCH better than the competitor down the street!
I am from the East Coast. I love Sushi and tried 2 places during a week long trip. The #1 Sushi place on TA was OK. The staff was pleasant but honestly the Sushi was mediocre. If you like Sushi.....Travel to Crazy Fish in the Nob Hill area. Have Kitt prepare some amazing sushi. Very generous Nigiri portions....even at Lunch.... 更多
