Had a lovely dinner there Staff was very helpful in assisting us decide what we wanted. Were very accommodating in adapting dishes for what we wanted. Large portions, reasonable prices
We picked this restaurant because we wanted to try something different and we do not have any Indian restaurants in our small town in the Nevada desert. The restaurant has no curb-appeal but few people go to restaurants for their looks. My wife and I shared an appetizer sampler, a vegetarian dinner sampler, and a Kingfisher beer (22oz). Both dishes... 更多
Pros: location- fairly easy to find with plenty of parking, though it fills up during lunch hour. Good efficient service. Fresh food, mostly fresh ingredients. Distinct, pleasantly strong indian flavors, usual Indian items presented in most American Indian restaurant are represented. All flavorful, & cleanly displayed on buffet tables. Some items change depending on what day. Delicious tandoori chicken pieces from... 更多
I went to Taj Mahal on Mother's Day and it was very busy. The buffet was nice and offered spinach, a tikka masala, a spinach dish, naan and fruit. The chicken was cooked nicely and the atmosphere is pleasant.
I love this restaurant! It an exceptional place to eat. I adore Indian Food and have had it in Mumbai, London, Los Angeles, Kansas City, Las Vegas and many other spots. I have been in Santa Fe for four-yrs and recently found this restaurant. I have eaten here almost every weekend all year. The Saag Paneer is fabulous. The Naan... 更多
This is my favorite restaurant in all of Albuquerque. I love Indian food and this restaurant does not disappoint. The staff is very friendly. The menu has so many wonderful dishes, it is hard to pick. Their Garlic Naan is wonderful. Highly recommend!
We saw the Taj Mahal listed in the AAA guide so we made up our mind to try it whilst in Albuquerque. We were met and seated by a charming lady (possibly the owner). As the style of food was Punjabi, which are less familiar with, the staff were very helpful in helping us to order. The food was delicious... 更多
Our adult children wanted to have dinner at Taj Mahal. We drug my husband there--he doesn't think he likes Indian food. However, he chose the shali khorma, and he was very happy with it. We liked the atmosphere, the food, and the service.
Bad food. No taste. All pseudo Indian curries. Cooked in butter sauce and tomato sauce instead of authentic Indian spices and gravies. Indians are not treated well. As though we are dining first time outside.
