I had delicious coffee and hot chocolate every day at Quetzal when I was in Mindo. I enjoyed sitting there and using the good wifi. Staff was very gentle.
Had the ceviche served with dried plantains and popcorn. My sister had a smoothie and a seabass entree. Food was okay- nothing was overwhelming. Food took a while but and it was okay when it finally came.Service is prompt and attentive.
Good for deserts, chocolate and coffee but the two dif main course dishes we ordered were not very good. Even the soup of the day was not up to par. Just go there to enjoy chocolate brownies or deserts.
What a special find in such a small location. This restaurant is so good we had a hard time choosing anywhere else to eat so we didn,t. Everything about this place was outstanding foof , staff, atmosphere, down to the cleanliness of their kitchen. You knew from that , that someone knew how to run a restaurant. Eat anything on the... 更多
We had a late lunch here one day while in Mindo. The food is very well priced (a bit high for Ecuador, but most meals will be less than $10), and everything is delicious. I had a sandwich and my friends each had an entree. We all loved it. We also did the chocolate tour after eating. It was very... 更多
The food and drinks here are expensive by Mindo's standards, but the quality of the food is amazing so it's definitely worth a trip! I had the steak in coffee sauce (sounds weird but totally works) and my girlfriend chose the BBQ pork chop (with a BBQ sauce made using chocolate). An absolutely amazing meal, and came with the biggest... 更多
We came here twice, both at lunchtime, and were suitably impressed. The sandwiches were very big, but tasted great. The second visit we went for a main meal each, and again, we loved it. The steak and coffee sauce was excellent, the vegetarian dish was tasty and the ginger beer was a gingery as I wanted and expected. The only... 更多
Great food!! Try the quinoa risotto. The chocolate tour is basic but if you have never seen how chocolate is made then is worth it. Very affordable. Coffee is not good so if you are a coffee picky & lover like me, don't try it. The brownie is also good!
The food was great here. We had lunch one day and dinner on another. A very nice upscale menu. We both had dinner specials: trout in mushroom sauce, and tenderloin in a coffee sauce. Both were delicious. Pleasant atmosphere, free wifi. Great home made desserts and wonderful coffees. We did not go on the chocolate tour, but it looked popular.
This is a cafe but you can also take a chocolate tour where the guide goes through the whole process of making the chocolate from where and how they grow their specific bean to the finished product. It was an interesting way to spend a couple hours.
