This is a great place for Chinese food. I would recommend any of the chicken dishes and also the soups. An old timer in town.
Some reviewers mention MC used to be located across the street; when I first went in the mid-'70s, its previous location was on Main Street, towards where Polaroid used to be (how's that for classic New England directions?). That area is so rebuilt, I could not even begin to pinpoint the location. Anyway, I used to hate the overcooked vegetables... 更多
We got off the subway at Kendall, and were walking back to our hotel about 10pm. Looking for a place to eat, and this was open and looked good. Staff was very friendly - food was great. Got our food very quickly I had the cashew chicken, and there were LOTS of cashews. Not many vegetables, but good anyway. My... 更多
We stopped here for a late dinner after we flew into town. It was close to our hotel. Our server was quick, our food was ok. But when we left money for the bill and the tip, The server insisted we were a dollar too low! This has never happened to me. I did the exact math, and it was... 更多
Mary's has been my favorite place for many, many years. Even with the proliferation of new, good Chinese places in Cambridge, Mary's is a great place. Bigger menu, many newer options but super peking ravioli.
Almost every MIT student and most Cambridge residents know Mary's. They serve good Chinese food. The memorable dishes are suan le chau show, dun dun noodles, scallion pancakes, yushiang anything, velvet chicken, and many others. Try whatever vegetables they have for the day or spicy green beans. Cash only. Only mediocre wine and beer. Come for the food.
I went with my family. The food was OK at best. The service was poor with a rude waitress. The dishes were brought out 2 seconds after the soup was served and left on the table to get cold. The plates were attempted to be removed as we were eating. The prices are average and do not reflect any discount... 更多
We went to Mary-Chung because they served Dim-Sum from 11 to 3 PM. We arrived at 12:45 and the restaurant was not busy except for 1 table of 10. Instead of sitting us in the front, we were brought to the back which is very closed to the kichen and bathroom. We did not like it so they reluctant moved... 更多
I had the Pan Fried Peking Raviolis, Wonton soup ( plentiful ), and Two Sided Crispy Noodles with Shrimp, Chicken and vegetables.I enjoyed what I had and would go again. Price are reasonable. I would suggest ordering in increment for the food comes out at a rapid pace and you will be sitting with your entree before you have even... 更多
I don't usually carry much cash and I'd spent a good deal of it on my visit to Boston, but I didn't think much of it when some MIT faculty invited me to one of their favorite restaurants in Cambridge. Fortunately, they are an understanding groups as Mary Chung's does not take credit cards. I had what they called "Chinese... 更多
