Food is very good and the service is quick. This is very important for a family lunch with kids. The space could be improved.
Really a good spot and very reasonably prices. The sauteed vegetables, ie chinese broccoli, etc, are excellent. Also, the pho is great. Surprised at the negative reviews. Yes, the decor and ambiance is a bit weird, and the service is "subdued," to put it lightly, but Le's is a great value!
I tried the spring rolls to test the quality- how can you go wrong with fried spring rolls? Food here is always nice, service is also good. I suggest you try either the #38 rice noodles with grilled beef or cubed steak or pho. Their pineapple fried rice was delicious as well!
But the food was just okay. Crispy rolls had too much crust, the peanut sauce too thick and heavy. Large portions of both pho and bun. Vermicelli in bun was overcooked. Service was attentive, water glasses kept full. My sister thought there might be msg used.
Le's makes my all time favorite Pho - better than any I've had in Chinatown. The portions are huge and it's delicious. Good Vietnamese restaurant with spring rolls and soup. Good menu selections. Food: 4/5 Service: prompt, friendly, helpful 5/5. Price: $ Three people = $36 with tip.
The food was delicious. The price point was great. This was my first experience with Vietnamese food and I really enjoyed the grilled pork with crispy spring rolls on top of vermicelli. The woman at the door seemed a little unfriendly, but the rest of the staff was great.
