We were referred to Saputo's by a clerk at our hotel. Very good food and service, with plentiful portions.

Delicious, homey Italian dishes that do not dissappoint. The coolest atmosphere which is small and intimate, but because of location you may spot politicos! reasonably priced and huge portions, only regret is staying in hotel makes it tough to bring leftovers back! Also missed the traditional cottage fries...where did they go? But my chicken parm was fabulous, and another friend... 更多
I dined here while staying over night. I liked it. The decor is kind of 1950's local restaurant, which fits the history and cuisine. I ate in the dining room as there are tables in the bar as well. The waitress was very good and helped me pick out my choices. I had the eggplant parm and loved it as... 更多
We have eaten at Saputo, downtown Springfield, many times when we want Italian food. Saputo is the place to go if you are interest in politics. This is a family owned Italian restaurant in Springfield Illinois. It's been around for over 60 years and is located in the downtown area. I like their Veal and Chicken Parmesan as well as their pastas, particularly the baked ravioli with the red sauce.
A short walk from the Convention Center Hotels, they took us in and made us feel at home. Home made pasta, quality meats, salad, bread, and sauces allowed us to finish our day on a high.
Went here for lunch. Had minestrone and meatball sandwich and a friend had some pasta. Everything was average. The interior is extremely poorly decorated for a restaurant that displays a message that men in short sleeves are not accepted:) Not cheap especially considering the quality of the food
