History lesson and hiking combination. Choice of 0.5 or 1.5 mile trail. Fascinating walk through Lava flows.
Always stop here for dinner when in the area. Best food in the basin, hope you like potatoes!!! The salad and all entree's are great, some of the best potatoe casaroles you'll find anywhere. Can't be beat when you're really hungry.
Standard American fare with a salad to boot. Good though. Worth a drive from Tule for the best dinner in the area. Friendly and casual service.
A group of geologist colleagues and I ate here two nights in a row, in part because the other offerings in this remote, rural area were so limited. The service was excellent (our waitress was quite amusing and helpful), the ambience was friendly, and the food varied from okay to very good. We arrived both nights relatively near closing time,... 更多
We ate dinner here at the end of our birding tour of Tulelake. We a treat it was...a wonderful salad bar started us off. When it was announced that there were only 2 New York steaks left, my wife and I quickly ordered them and they were cooked perfectly, served with locally grown potatoes and accompanied by a local beer...we... 更多
This was my first time to dine here at lunchtime. Dinner previously was great. Lunch today was also great. Friendly and great and fast service. I ordered Grilled/melted BLT packed with ham. Delicious!

The drinks and dessert were good and the decor is with artifacts from the Modoc Indian War - hence the name of the restaurant. I am a former resident of this area... 更多
The service was great and felt very comfortable. We sat inside but the patio looked like a great place to sit also. The food was good and nobody complained. The only bummer was I really wanted a chicken fried steak and they said it was frozen from a box and not made fresh. Ended up having the fish and chips... 更多
Far from anywhere, you can find a variety of tasty, healthy, and quality food choices. In fact, you will not find better for miles so make sure you stop. Marietta cannot make a bad pie.
Lunch followed a visit to the WWII Valor in the Pacific National Monument, Tule Lake Japanese Segregation Center headquarters at the Tulelake Butte Valley Fairgrounds in Tulelake and the remains of the camp at Newell, several miles south of Tulelake. Captain Jack's Stronghold is also a great stop on the way to Reno, when traveling on Highway 139 south of... 更多
