We always get the Italian Beef sandwiches. They are delicious and fast for a casual dining experience.
Was waiting for my flight at the nearby Home2 Hotel. Called and a very nice young man answered my questions and took my order. Said 40 minutes but they were there in 20. Good thin crust pie. They make a Chicago pie but it said 40 minute cook time and I didn't want to wait. There's an Italian beef they... 更多
I've had burgers and hot dogs at this establishment. Both were tasty. The menu offers many choices of burgers, hot dogs, and sausages. The food is a bit pricey for burgers and hot dogs but they have specials daily that help on this aspect. The eating area is casual and is clean.
We had a large pizza for lunch. The pizza was excellent and the whole family enjoyed it thoroughly. The staff is friendly and the service was pretty fast. They do get busy around lunch time on a week day so plan accordingly. Definitely recommend eating here.
Our last night in Anchorage, we went for pizza. During this trip we ate too much fish, salmon particularly. We'd like to try this pizza at Johnny's Chicago, they seems popular in the states, so we thought we go for it When we get inside we were greeted by a young girl who takes order. She was so friendly. There... 更多
Can only comment on pizza as we had take out. We had the regular pizza and also a deep dish. Both were very good. I had never had a deep dish so I did not know what to expect but I would certainly eat it again. I see why it is called a "tomato pie."
Good place to get a Gyro but everything there seemed so mediocre. The pizza laid out for hours under heat lamps for by the slice and the staff didn't seem to care all that much how fast orders got out. Maybe get a quick bite here but its nothing special.
Our son is stationed at Elmendorf-Richardson so we actually ate at Johnny Chicago's sister property (Chicago's Best) located at the PX/Commissary on post. These beef sandwiches are as good as Portillo's in the Chicagoland area. It was a very nice surprise to find a little piece of Chicago right there in Alaska.
Hi Folks. If Big Al was alive (and not pushing up daises) he'd eat here. First, we tried the Chicago deep dish pizza. It takes about 40 minutes but it was worth the wait. The next time I had a "dipped" beef and hot Italian sausage with a real jardinière (look it up). It was out of this world. The... 更多
