Great space for dinner with a group or for a couple. The waitstaff was wonderful and knowledgeable. The pasta with meatballs is outstanding.
We ate here because we saw live music advertised, so we booked a time around that and wandered (climbed) up the hill to the restaurant from the water. Turns out, the particular artist wasn't playing -- apparently she's elderly and often cancelled, but we stayed for dinner anyway. The atmosphere is dark, but not in a particularly romantic way. I knew from when I first entered that there was a great sense of tradition here. The menu is everything one would expect. Many patrons seemed to know each other and were familiar with the piano player. We had a delightful meal and enjoyed the feel of this place. It was the perfect and unpretentious way to end our Seattle... 更多
Here is what I mean, upon walking into the restaurant I felt like I was on the set of Soprano's or Goodfellas. However, wait staff was very much hipster crowd. I have driven by this restaurant many times but never stopped. What finally got me here was live music. We were there on a Saturday night and they had piano... 更多
Birthday dinner and cocktails for a friend. The four of us raved about the cocktails and the food. The music was excellent, very good view. I asked the bartender to create a special "birthday" cocktail round for us based on general ideas (not sweet, bourbon-based, something that would pair well with what we were eating). He delivered in spades. Would... 更多
When you walk in the door of Vito's, you are travelling to a different time and place. This is an Era that the rest of Seattle has left behind. It has a great east coast feel. Live music, good food. The food is straightforward American Italian from thirty or forty years ago. Great, local suppliers. The Macrina bread is heaven.... 更多
Vito''s is one of Seattle's classic restaurants frequented by the rich and famous, as well as travelers and locals who are looking for fine Italian food and memorable atmosphere. Wide menu choice, fine dining. Can be noisy and a little dark.
I have wanted to go to Vito's for years. Me and my partner live a few blocks away on First Hill. Both of us were excited to finally make reservations and check out this long standing restaurant in our neighborhood. Unfortunately, our excitement was quelled by a less than desirable experience. After thinking about our experience, I am certain that... 更多
A true NYC style Italian restaurant in downtown Seattle. If you need a great east coast Italian meal when you are in the great northwest this is the place Food very good, wine list was also very complimentary to the menu.
Excellent food & unique experience.. you just have to see it to believe it. I found it a bit too dark for my taste, but it's a lively environment that serves excellent food.
