Harbor House is a great place for a "business luncheon". Service is great and lots of parking. The restaurant is situated on a pier in the harbor good view of the ocean. Menu selection is good , if you like seafood this is the place. I had the fresh fish sandwich with fries it was a good portion for the... 更多
Good business lunch restaurant Great service, reasonable prices and right on harbor Parking is available. No reservations needed My favorite was the fresh fish sandwich with fries
Read reviews before going. Do not go for a meal, go for a beer. Nothing beats a super ice cold schooner (18oz frosty mug) while watching the sunset. Get there early, as they close at 7. Grab a schooner and some pupus (I like the calamari and sometimes the poke) If you go knowing what to get, and want to... 更多
We went to Harbor House because we like marinas and boats. It sits inside of the marina gates so it's an early venue for food. Best at lunch for the burger and fries plus draft beer selections. So while in Kona don't miss this casual and comfortable "boaty" place, but they close around 6:45 PM because marina gates close. Might... 更多
I just had a late lunch at this place. You can read everyone's descriptions. They are valid. There is a bar area with TV screens and a very casual restaurant area behind the bar. Boat are all around as you dine. I think they have the best burgers on the island of Hawaii. You get either a salad or french... 更多
We dive quite a bit and when we happen to go out of Honokohau Habor we drop in here for a bite. Typical labor food, fresh grilled fish, friend fish/seafood and cold beer. I had the seafood fried plate with fried fish, shrimp and calamari....really yummy (not healthy) the grilled fish sandwich was very good too! Not fancy, not the... 更多
Stopped by for lunch while visiting the nearby beach. My lunch was good, my guests lunch was not so good. Service for us was good, service for the table next to us did not really happen and they kept asking about service while being ignored. Not sure why the uneven food and service, but if you get it good, it... 更多
we were on a week's get away to The Big Island of Hawaii. We were staying about 18 miles north of the Kona Airport. we decided to drive to Kona to find a "sea food" restaurant. the traffic started backing up, so we drove down by a marina just south of the Kona Airport. We happened onto Harbor House an... 更多
Well, I'd like to be able to review this place. My husband and I joined some coworkers there for what we thought would be drinks and a late lunch. The waitress completely ignored us, even though she was well aware we had just joined the others (we came in right in front of her, she cleared the dirty glasses, said... 更多
Located at the small boat harbor next to the Kona airport on Hawaii (Big Island). Also right next to one of the Hawaiian historical areas which more people should visit. If you haven't visited the 3 historic areas in Kona and Kohala (just up the coast), you need to. Scenic beauty, historic interest, and a sense of cultural history are... 更多
i think the best thing this restaurant has to offer is the beer and the view. The service was prompt and polite but the lunches we had were pretty mediocre. Way too much grease left on the entre...to the point of having it soak right through the paper it was served on (in the plastic basket). Looks like the hamburgers... 更多
OK - the view of the Harbor is nice. Food is NOT good! Schooners (beer) was nice and cold. The view was great. The service was nice, but REALLY slow.
Within one minute of sitting down a server approached for our order. We hadn't opened the menu yet. Within two minutes a different server approached us. In no way different than the other 2000 restaurants we've eaten, we asked for another minute. Of course we said, "please". The server rolled her eyes, spun on her heels and walked off. After... 更多
This is the place to do happy hour, especially if you do a morning fishing trip. Huge, cheap schooners of beer, and the typical bar food, with some of the freshest fish you can get. Definitely a locals place, but everyone made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back next time we are on island.
