We loved the show! Charmaine Neville was very entertaining! The musicians were highly talented. Loved that it was a small venue and I did not need ear plugs to enjoy the music. I will definitely be back! Jazz, Funk, & Gospel.
Went there with friends essentially to attend the daily jazz concert with having dinner before that. As it was our first day in New Orleans, we were tired, didn't stay to the Jazz part, and ended up by just having dinner. The restaurant has a comfortable ambience with an intimate feel. All friends orders were highly rated. I, however, ordered... 更多
Had a delicious meal and stayed after for the evening concert. Great Date night and affordable! Located right in the heart of Frenchmen's Street so you can bar hop and listen to more live music afterwards if you chose!
This Jazz Club is a must spot on anyone's trip to New Orleans. It is what Jazz is all about. Some of the really greats in Jazz have played there. Many of the young turks of Jazz got the feet wet playing at Snug Harbor. There are no strangers here, tables small and cozy.
Went to see the Charmaine Neville Band as recommended by Tom from Bourbons - we were not disappointed. It was an amazing evening - Charmaine and her band were absolutely fantastic. Charmaine certainly knows how to get the audience to participate and enjoy themselves. Highly recommended.
Pecan Crusted Redfish was buttery and moist. Service was wonderful and to my surprise when going to the washroom was to discover the Jazz Bistro in the back. Unfortunately the music was done by the time we were done dining.
The hubby and I was looking for a quaint restaurant with delicious food and we found this wonderful place. If you want some delicious food with a good vibe then look no further. We first started our meal off with a frosty beverage which was strong and delicious. We ordered a shrimp cocktail that was seasoned to perfection and fried... 更多
Although this restaurant/jazz club is nothing fancy, the food and service are good at a fair price. My wife and I shared the shrimp dinner and a dinner salad. I have a cup of gumbo to start which was loaded with all of the good things one should have in gumbo. The location is prime on Frenchmen Street and if... 更多
Granted, we were there during Jazz Fest...The bartender, Lilly, was quite slow - a little more interested in her coworker than her clients. She also made a few snide remarks about one of our party, which was totally out of line. Another lady (outside of our party, but who we chatted with ) had been waiting for a seat at... 更多
Grabbing a cab from the jazz festival threw us together with a California couple. They recommended that we eat dinner on Frenchmen Street, specifically, Snug harbor. We arrived before the crowds and were very pleased with the selection and service. Wine and beer choices were high quality. The dinner choices pleased all, including those who don't care for seafood.
